These 12 x 18 inch VCI flat poly bags are made from 4 mil low-density polyethylene film embedded with volatile corrosion inhibitor chemistry. VCI molecules emit continuously within the sealed environment, forming a protective molecular layer on enclosed metal surfaces and eliminating the need for rust-preventive oils, desiccants, or secondary wrapping materials.
The transparent film lets operators visually identify, inventory, and pick bagged components without opening each package — a meaningful efficiency gain in manufacturing staging areas, MRO storage, and finished-goods distribution. The bags are compatible with ferrous and non-ferrous metals including steel, aluminum, copper, and brass, making them practical for machined components, hardware, precision parts, and metal assemblies held in storage or prepared for transit.
Bags measure 12 x 18 inches with a flat open-end construction that accepts flat or irregularly shaped parts. The 4 mil gauge provides puncture resistance and a reliable moisture barrier. Each case contains 250 bags and ships via parcel carrier.
